It will be around 40 pages long, and all of these pages will follow the same text layout. To clarify: I want to make a document, complete with headers, footers, page numbers, all the usual options applied to styling word processed text. If I simply continue, I can add headers/footers with no problem, but when I get to the end of the page and it makes the next one, they are missing (the page contains no headers or footers, this only appears on the previous page of text).ĭo I need to start over completely and use Page Layout mode, or.

However, I find that this option if greyed out and I cannot select it. Reading through the help files, the answer is apparently to add a Insert / Section Break at the end of one of the graphic pages (which contain no headers or footers), and go from there. What I would like to do is follow each graphic page with 20 or 30 pages of just text. It contains 10 or 15 pages of graphics which I've laid out without any particular trouble. I have started a document in Word Processing mode. I am slightly confused by what options and features are available in Page Layout vs. I am a relatively new convert to Pages and trying to see if it will suit my needs better than Word.
